Google Business Profile · Flat $250/mo CAD

Google Business Profile management
for the map results that ring phones.

Google Business Profile management and optimization for local businesses: categories, services, photos, posts and review responses handled every month for a flat $250 CAD. The map pack is where ready-to-buy customers click, and most profiles are not even close to complete.

The map decides

Why does Google Business Profile optimization matter so much?

Search for any local service and look at what loads first: the map with three businesses in it. Those three spots capture most of the clicks on a local search, while everything below fights for what is left. For a local business, the profile is not a side project. It is the front door.

Google fills those three spots by reading the profile: the categories you chose, the services you listed, the photos you added, how fresh your posts are and how you handle reviews. A half-finished profile tells Google you might not even be open.

The work is not complicated. It is consistent, which is exactly why most businesses do not do it, and why the ones that do get the calls.

Do it yourself

How do you optimize a Google Business Profile?

Here is the actual checklist, in the order it moves the needle. None of it is secret and all of it is free to do yourself. Most owners get three items in and stop, which is exactly where the opportunity is.

  1. Fix the primary category first. It carries more weight than anything else on the profile. Pick the one that matches what you most want to be called for, then add secondary categories for the rest.
  2. Fill every service, not four.Google trims the list if you leave it thin, and each service is a phrase you can be matched against. Group them properly rather than dumping twenty loose entries.
  3. Add products with prices. The products section is empty on most local profiles. Cards with a real price and a photo take up space in your listing that a competitor would otherwise own.
  4. Match your NAP everywhere.Name, address and phone must read identically on your site, your profile and every directory listing. Conflicting details are one of the quietest reasons a business stalls.
  5. Post twice a week.Posts expire, so a profile that last posted in April looks dormant. Linking each post to a real page on your site gives the update somewhere useful to send people.
  6. Add photos on a schedule.Finished jobs, the team, the vehicle, the storefront. Geotagged photos added steadily beat twenty uploaded once and never touched again.
  7. Ask for reviews continuously. In most GTA local categories the businesses in the map pack sit around 4.9 stars with dozens of reviews. A steady trickle counts for more than a burst, and every review needs a reply.
  8. Set the service area one city at a time.Bulk service-area edits frequently fail review. Adding cities individually, and waiting for each to be approved, is slower and considerably more reliable.

If you work through that list yourself, you will be ahead of most of your competitors and you will not need to hire anyone. The service below exists for owners who know they will never get to step five.

What the fee covers

A Google My Business optimization service, done monthly.

01

Categories from keyword data

Primary and secondary categories chosen from real search volume, not guesses. The wrong primary category quietly caps how often Google shows you at all.

02

Services and products written out

Every service you sell, listed and described the way customers search for it. Most profiles run four auto-generated services; a full profile gives Google far more to match against.

03

Posts, photos and updates

Google Posts published on a schedule and real work photos added regularly. An active profile beats a parked one, and Google's own behaviour shows activity decaying within weeks of going quiet.

04

Review responses, every time

Every review answered professionally within a day or two, positive or critical. Response rate and speed are signals customers and Google both read.

Straight pricing

One flat fee, and an honest word about rankings.

$250/mo CAD flat covers setup and ongoing management, month to month, no contract. The same work is included in everymonthly retainer tier, so it never gets double-billed.

The honest part: nobody controls Google, and nobody can guarantee the Map Pack. What can be guaranteed is the work: a complete profile, active posting, current photos, responded reviews and categories backed by search data. That is the set of levers that exists, and they all get pulled here.

I run this exact playbook on my own profile, which is how Built to Rank shows up with products, services and posts when you search the name. The same discipline goes on yours.

Real sites, real clients.

FAQ

Google Business Profile: your questions.

What is the difference between Google My Business and Google Business Profile?

Same thing, new name. Google renamed Google My Business to Google Business Profile in 2021, and most owners still say GMB. Whatever you call it, it is the listing that decides whether you show up in the map results when someone nearby searches for what you do.

How long until my business shows up in the Map Pack?

For most local businesses, meaningful movement takes 2 to 4 months of consistent work: categories fixed, services filled out, photos added, posts published and reviews coming in. Anyone promising the Map Pack in two weeks is guessing or lying. What you get here is the honest timeline for your market.

What does Google Business Profile management include?

Setup and everything after it: primary and secondary categories chosen from keyword data, services and products written out, service areas configured, photos kept current, Google Posts published, reviews responded to, and changes monitored so Google's automated edits do not quietly break things.

Can you fix a suspended Google Business Profile?

Usually, yes. Most suspensions come from address problems, category stuffing or edits that tripped a filter. Recovery means cleaning up the violation and filing reinstatement properly. It gets scoped honestly after a look at what happened, because some cases are quick and some are genuinely stuck.

Do you get reviews for my business?

No fake reviews, no bought reviews, ever. What you get is a system for asking real customers at the right moment, plus professional responses to every review that comes in, good or bad. Review velocity matters in the map results, but only the real kind survives.

How much does Google Business Profile optimization cost?

A flat $250/mo CAD covers setup and ongoing management. The same work is folded into every monthly retainer tier, so if you are already on a retainer, you are covered. One-time setup without management gets quoted after the free audit.
