Custom web application development
for businesses that outgrew a brochure site.

Custom web application development for local businesses: 3D product configurators, quoting tools, CRM connections and internal dashboards. Quoted per project, scoped in writing first.

When a website is not enough

When does a business actually need a custom web app?

Usually when the same manual job happens every week. Someone retypes an order into a spreadsheet, or spends twenty minutes on the phone working out which product configuration a customer wants.

The other trigger is a product too configurable to photograph. If a customer has to imagine what forty options look like together, a static gallery is losing you sales you never hear about.

Both problems are worth solving in software. Neither is worth solving with an off-the-shelf plugin that half fits and then breaks on the next update.

What gets built

Web app development services, scoped per project.

01

3D product configurators

Real-time 3D built with Three.js, so a customer can size and spec your product on screen. Built and shipped for a commercial refrigeration supplier, running live on their site today.

02

Quoting and booking tools

Calculators and request flows that capture the details your team currently chases by phone. The lead arrives complete instead of arriving as a name and a phone number.

03

CRM setup and integration

HubSpot configured and wired to your site so every inquiry lands as a proper record with source, service and notes attached. No retyping, no leads lost in an inbox.

04

Internal dashboards and portals

The spreadsheet three people email around, turned into something with logins, permissions and a single source of truth that does not break when someone sorts a column.

The proof

A 3D configurator that is live, not a mockup.

World Food Equipment is a commercial refrigeration supplier in Mississauga, in business since 1995. Their site is a roughly 40-page Astro build with a Three.js walk-in cooler configurator at the centre of it.

A customer sets the dimensions and options and sees the unit update in real time, which replaces a phone call that used to start with "what size did you need again".

It is the only 3D configurator built here so far. One real build is a smaller claim than most agencies make on this kind of page, and it has the advantage of being true.

Straight pricing

How is custom software development priced?

Every custom build is quoted per project, with a fixed number and a written scope before anything starts. A deposit holds the slot and the balance is staged against milestones.

Standard websites are different and start at $999 CAD, so if what you need is really a good site rather than an app, you will be pointed there instead.

The most useful thing to do first is a short call about the manual process you want to kill. Half of these conversations end with a smaller, cheaper fix than the one the owner came in asking for.

Custom tools sit on top of a solid site.

A configurator only pays off when people can find the page it lives on. The website, the search work and the automation around it are the same job.

FAQ

Custom web apps: your questions.

What counts as a custom web app?

Anything past a standard website: a product configurator, a quoting tool, a booking system, a customer portal or an internal dashboard. If your business runs on a spreadsheet that three people email back and forth, that is usually the thing worth turning into an app.

How much does custom web application development cost?

Every build is quoted per project, because a quoting calculator and a 3D configurator are not remotely the same job. What you get before starting is a fixed written number and a scope, not an hourly rate that drifts.

What is a 3D product configurator?

A tool that lets a customer build your product on screen and see it change in real time: size, layout, finishes, options. It works best for products with a lot of variations where a static photo gallery cannot show what the customer would actually receive.

Have you actually built one?

Yes. World Food Equipment, a commercial refrigeration supplier in Mississauga, has a Three.js walk-in cooler configurator built as part of their site. It is live, it is real, and you can look at it rather than take a claim on faith.

Can you connect it to my CRM?

Yes. HubSpot setup and CRM connections are part of the work, so a configuration or a quote request lands as a real record with the details attached instead of an email someone has to retype.

How long does a custom build take?

Typically four to ten weeks depending on scope, and the timeline is agreed in writing before work starts. Custom work is where projects usually slip, so scope gets fixed up front and changes get quoted rather than absorbed silently.
